About Me: This year I am celebrating 10 years of being a nursery pre-school studio photographer and still absolutely love my job! Pre-schoolers are truly the most rewarding age to photograph as their little personalities shine through into their photos. (They will not fake a smile; this means they make you work really hard but reward you with genuine grins & laughter)

I am fully insured & hold a DBS certificate. I work fast but am very patient with the little ones. I offer a wide variety of photography styles - ideal for parents & nursery settings looking for a change - no two shoots need be the same!
Why have a photographer? Nursery Photos are precious as this is usually the first professional photoshoot this age group have attended and because parents aren’t present on photo day, the pictures created are a wonderful surprise, making them even more special and treasured for years to come. I work completely for FREE and send you a percentage of the photo sales as a thank you, so is a great fund-raising scheme plus I give a discount on images ordered by staff whose children are photographed.

Why should you book me: I have a large variety of backdrops and props to suit each setting's preferred photo style, to offer you that 'something different' to the photos you have had in the past - parents won't keep buying the same old photos season after season if they are too similar each time & I find this is the main feedback from parents unhappy with their existing photographer /company. The other reason is if the children don't respond to the photographer, having a change can really help.
Where & When: I travel around Essex & surrounding counties taking photos at different pre-school & nursery settings at least twice a year. Summer can include a 'graduation' shoot where the children leaving that term to head to primary & infants school get to wear a special graduation gown, hat and hold a 'scroll' as a celebration of their time at pre-school as well as taking photos of the rest of the students.

Graduation shots are taken of individual pupils, on your choice of coloured background, and if required we can discuss ideas for a group image. The group image above was created to show the type of outfits I bring with me for all ages of pre-school pupils & provides ideas and suggestions. It is not a finite example of what your group photo will look like because I will discuss ideas & requirements with you & create a photo in a style that is unique to your pre-school.
In the Autumn term I pop back to photograph a Christmas & winter theme. These photos are then processed and delivered in time for parents to use as Christmas presents.
I am flexible and can take photos at any time of the year if you would prefer me to come along in Spring for example - in 2022 I have been very busy with both Valentines and Mothers Day shoots - this means I can take the whole school in Spring then pop back in the summer purely for the leavers Graduation photos.
I take staff photos as and when the setting needs updated images for their staff board (contact me for a quote) & can give you a quote for taking action shots of your premises and garden outdoor space if you are updating your website and social media pages (see http://www.springfieldbees.co.uk where I took their website photos)

Who do you speak to? I run my business by myself so you always know who your photographer will be. I undertake all the administration so when you have a query you only have one person to contact. I use a professional printing lab to create the beautiful printed photos & gift items to guarantee a super high quality finish to the images ordered by the parents.

How does it work? I set up in an area of your pre-school using approx 7ft x 7ft floor space and access to electricity for my studio lights. I bring a selection of smart clothes for children who need to borrow something. I take a selection of individual and sibling shots for approx 5 mins per child, usually a bit longer for siblings. On photo day I give each child a password card. Simply send this home with the child as it contains the parent's password login for viewing their gallery of images online. After the orders have been placed, the products will be professionally created and sent directly to the parent's home address. So no admin for you, no 'putting together' packs of photos and handling money ! Easy peasy...
